SF History Weekend ~ Monday, March 07, 2016
The Old San Francisco Mint building was once a museum, but it's been closed for a while, and if you want to see the inside the best chance is to go during the annual History Days Weekend, which just happened this weekend (sorry not to post about it in advance!). There were many displays by local historical associations, including a lot to interest railfans. The Niles Silent Film Museum was also there, and the kids got to try on period costumes. Later we went to Smitten.
