Telescope Plane ~ Tuesday, September 17, 2019
I thought I might see Air Force One at Moffett Field today (don't blame the plane for its passenger). I didn't, but I did see this interesting plane, which is a retired hight altitude telescope, the Kuiper Airborne Observatory (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuiper_Airborne_Observatory ). Wini, a plane fan, instantly recognized it :)
