The Coliseum Theater, and a Delphic Temple? ~ Saturday, June 05, 2021

For complicated reasons we ended up in the Richmond yesterday, and passed by this obvious old theater:

This was the Coliseum Theater, and was an active theater until 1989. Seems to be a drugstore downstairs and aprtments upstairs now. At least the nice façade was saved.

Across the street was odd building, now empty, formerly a club, but originally maybe a bank? It says "Apollo God of Delphic Temple" in one corner and "First Safe Guardian of Gold" in the other.

Nearby is Green Apple Books, which is worth a visit.
