I volunteered to help with props for Wini's Ice Theater team. It was a nice day so I decided to bike over to the rink to help pack up props today. Somehow I got roped into painting props, and then ran out of paint. The local hardware store wasn't too far, but it wasn't exactly a scenic ride through the industrial side of Redwood City.

But I did come across this oddity, and old rubber-tired, fake cable car, lettered for both the California St. Ry and the Asiya Shrine Clowns, probably a veteran of numerous parades.





There have been several Cal Cable cars #49; it's s reasonable replica of the overall design.
