Wini's Ice Theatre team competed in the national competition at Cleveland, OH, this past June, and I came along as a chaperone and member of the props team. You're welcome to read my minute-by-minute updates at this microblog I kept of the trip, though be warned there are a lots of posts about skating.

A highlight of riding the Cleveland RTA system is the high level bridge over the Cuyahoga river,





paralleled by a dozen or more road and railway bridges, such as the famous Detroit-Superior Bridge, currently just used as road bridge, but built as a double-deck structure with streetcar tracks on the lower level, now unused (it's closed off but it seems that access is occasionally allowed for the curious).
